Job Summary & Key Responsibilities



MercuryGate is looking for a professional sales person capable of following our systematic approach to a consultative sale. This position requires a highly coachable and metrics motived mindset, combined with the ability to build and foster relationships with prospective clients. We're a collaborative team, and we're looking for someone who will learn and adapt to our fast-paced, evolving processes while providing insight about opportunities for improvement.  This candidate will collaborate with stakeholders from across the MercuryGate organization.  The goal of this position is to turn prospects into qualified leads for the sales team.

  • Follow up on various marketing initiatives
  • Excel at qualifying each opportunity properly to ensure the right level of follow up
  • Demonstrate the value propositions of our products and services
  • Make outbound calls to pre-qualified prospects to identify initial business
  • Use concise messaging to target a variety of industry verticals and contacts
  • Manage a high volume of leads in to accurately and efficiently
  • Record and document all sales activities in
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the industry and MercuryGate’s competitive position
  • Support team members and other associates
  • Willingness and motivation to learn and progress in a leading technology company

Job Qualifications & Other Requirements


  • 1-3 years or less of SaaS sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree; Business, Marketing, Sales concentration preferred, or equivalent
  • Tenacity
  • Ambition to grow within the organization
  • Good interpersonal skills; self-starter
  • A passion for technology
