Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices
  • Contribute to and lead continuous improvement of automated software quality assurance processes and resources
  • Design, develop, and implement manual test cases in a fast-paced Agile environment
  • Identify, define and document software defects
  • Verify patches and bug fixes
  • Execute automated test scripts

Job Qualifications & Other Requirements

  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment with short 8-week release cycles, ideally following Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Three (3) or more years of experience as a team leader
  • High level understanding of Software Testing Methodology
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience testing complex SaaS software applications
  • Experience with data-driver testing and BDD
  • Experience with Continuous Integration
  • Significant experience and expertise in creating and executing manual test cases
  • Experience working and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills

 

Must haves:

  • Mastery of the Software Development Life Cycle and software testing methodology, particularly in an Agile environment
  • Strong experience with automated functional regression testing
  • Knowledge of testing principles and techniques including automated testing tools and practices
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members

 

Nice to have:

  • SCRUM knowledge
