Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

MercuryGate is seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator / Sr Business Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience administering and configuring Salesforce.com, combined with strong business analysis skills working with cross-functional teams. This position will partner with internal users in Sales, Marketing, Client Services, and Finance to support and enhance new business processes on our Salesforce CRM platform and integrated apps and workflows.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily administration of the Salesforce CRM platform and manage overall system configuration in Salesforce.com
  • Create and manage custom fields, objects, layouts, list views, triggers, user permissions, profiles, and workflows
  • Partner with cross-functional business teams to understand and analyze business objectives, gather and define business requirements, and then lead work through Agile methodology
  • For configuration projects, work hands-on in Salesforce.com to satisfy the business requirements
  • For development projects, partner with Salesforce.com SI to ensure all projects are driven to completion
  • Facilitate and support testing of new features and apps in alignment with team requirements
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation including technical designs, project plans, workflows and training documents
  • Stand up and maintain Sales and Client Services tools and systems

Job Qualifications & Other Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience as a Salesforce Administrator (certification required) with expertise in administration, roles and permissions, reports and dashboards, object configurations, assignment rules and workflows
  • Three or more years of business analysis experience gathering, grooming, and delivering requirements and user stories
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other systems
  • Demonstrated ability to drive Salesforce projects to completion
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Passionate about optimizing Salesforce for Sales, Marketing, Technical Support and Finance functions
