    Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

    Description

     

    The QMS Program Manager is responsible for maintaining quality documents in a controlled manner throughout their life cycle by collaborating and driving process owners to conduct periodic reviews of procedures to ensure they are current and in compliance with applicable regulations and policies. The QMS Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and driving the creation of procedures to ensure compliance with global and regulatory standards to support the Quality Management System (QMS).


    Responsibilities

    • Execute quality strategies for maintaining quality documents in a controlled manner throughout their life cycle
    • Collaborate and drive process owners to conduct periodic reviews of procedures to ensure they are current and in compliance with applicable regulations and policies
    • Evaluate and manage continuous quality process improvements
    • Contribute to the identification, development and use of electronic tools and continuous improvements for documentation management
    • Establish and manage efficient recordkeeping and filing (hardcopy and e-copy) of quality documents to ensure that an effective data trail is maintained
    • Oversee and drive the creation of procedures to ensure compliance with global and regulatory standards to support the Quality Management System (QMS)
    • Develop and provide training for processes related to the document management system
    • Process and manage changes to quality documents
    • Administer and manage compliance with:
      • Reminders to control owners / document owners to update their documentation
      • Workflow to build in the approval / rejection process of documents like policies, standards, procedures, etc.
      • Maintain change log on document inventory
      • Maintain change log on key documents in support of SOC 1, SOC2, ISO, GDPR audits and vender assessments.
      • Manage centralized document repository to efficiently find the document needed ensuring all documents are kept up to date

    Job Qualifications & Other Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor degree in Business or related field or equivalent work experience
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Outstanding communication skills, both verbally and in written form
    • Excellent organizational and planning skills
    • Great attention to detail and a result driven approach
    • Prior experience with Document Control and QMS a plus
    • Prior experience leveraging Document Control/QMS within the framework of SOC 1, SOC 2, and ISO controls, policies, and procedures a plus
